Sol Collective was created by Alexa and Amanda out of a shared belief that wellness should feel approachable, meaningful, and enjoyable.Inspired by the idea that sometimes the most spiritual thing you can do is have fun, they created Sol Collective to bring people together through movement, adventure, community, and shared experiences in beautiful places.
Meet Amanda
Amanda has been teaching yoga since 2018 and has made her home in Sayulita ever since. Living by the ocean and surrounded by nature has deeply influenced her teaching style, which blends slow flow, restorative practices, meditation, and breathwork.Her classes invite students to slow down, tune in, and create space for reflection. Through a balance of effort and ease, Amanda helps practitioners build strength while also embracing rest, presence, and self-compassion.Known for her calm and welcoming presence, Amanda creates an environment where students feel supported, encouraged, and free to be their most authentic selves, on and off the mat.
Meet Alexa
Alexa is a 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher with over a decade of dedicated practice. Her teaching draws from Ashtanga, Power Vinyasa, Hatha, mantra, and breathwork, creating classes that will challenge your strength and balance. Her approach has been shaped by years of adapting her own practice through injuries and life transitions. Through those experiences, she learned the importance of listening to the body, letting go of perfection, and approaching practice with curiosity rather than force.
Alexa encourages students to connect more deeply with themselves and cultivate awareness that extends beyond the yoga mat.

We started Sol Collective because we wanted to create the kind of retreats we would want to attend ourselves. Retreats that combine movement and mindfulness with adventure, laughter, great food, meaningful conversation, and genuine connection. Retreats that leave room for both challenge and rest. That remind us that wellness isn't just about what happens during a yoga class or workout. It's also found in shared meals, ocean swims, exploring new places, and the friendships we build along the way.
